Why Adictel?

Adictel is a wide national and international referential developed around a network of 127 advisers, including a free call center, a training center and a platform to limit the access to gamble. Adictel is also a research and development center to protect sensible gamblers.

Game operators have to subscribe to prevention and support services for gambling addicts. This is a citizen attitude, of sustainable development indispensable for the future of this profession. Gaming is not another industry, and this is why authorities require operators to justify the implementation of an efficient prevention device.

Failure to follow the precaution principle by only one casino can cause severe judicial and financial consequences to it while tainting the entire industry that does not like “to make waves”.

Recent events have demonstrated that game operators cannot be both judge and jury anymore and do in a “dilettante” manner a job that is not theirs: Supporting gambling addicts. To introduce psychology inside a casino is a severe error which could being expensive for the whole profession because to propose an antidote means accepting that gambling is poison, which is not true.
